Ask anyone where the largest selection of quality plants in the Milton area are located, and most times you will hear the same answer.. Casey's Nursery and landscaping! My mother, who passed away threes years ago was a big fan. She used to love to go look around Casey's.
Mom owned "Lewis Gardens", she grew and sold many variates of named daylilles. She would ask me often, "Want to ride over to Casey's?" "Why mom?" I would ask. "Don't you have enough flowers?" " But son, they have so many pretty things there!" She would reply. It was just a thrill for her to walk through. If you love plants it will be the same for you.
They do things a little different there. They carry the common plants everyone else carries but they put an extra emphasis on carrying unique varieties that also will grow in this area. The knowledge retained by Debra Casey, husband John and Sue Mock could probably fill volumes of gardening and landscaping books. They are really the most helpful people you can find.
Founded 38 years ago by Jon and Rosa Casey, they carry old fashion, uncommon and hard to find plants along with the hottest new items. It's a formula that has served them well and kept customers coming back for almost 40 years.
With one-on-one service and friendly tour help, this family owned business grows most of their own plants, so quality control is strictly maintained. There motto is if it doesn't grow well here, they don't sell it. That keeps building the customer loyalty they are so proud of.
Now is a great time to plant fruit trees and Casey's fruits are in, Apple, Apricot, Cherry, Mulberry, Nectarine, Peach, Pear. Persimmon, Plum, Pecan, Chestnut, Walnut, Kiwi, Fig, Blackberry, Strawberry, Grapes and Muscadines! With the economy like it is surely it's time to stop paying high store prices and grow your own fruit!
