Cigarettes for One Dollar a Pack

That's right, I would like to thank the State of Florida and Congress for saving me about $2600 a year. Because of their Draconian taxes I have started growing my own tobacco and buying pipe tobacco and rolling my own. I figure they will eventually figure out how to tax the pipe tobacco so you should stock up now if you can. I get mine at Tobacco Annie's in Milton Florida. I also bought one of the deluxe rolling machines they sell.

Taste like Winstons to me.

For years I have smoked winstons. Using Criss Cross tobacco  I honestly can not tell the difference.  I roll my own Cigarettes. It's super easy with the deluxe machine. It's fast, it saves tons of money. If you are going to smoke cigarettes please don't waste your money on Obamanation  smokes. Do not give them any of your tax money.. Go to Tobacco Annie's at 6575 Caroline St, Milton, FL. Find out what is available. Do not fall for that stupid argument that smokers cost the government more money. Every time you smoke a pack of cigarettes the Government nets approximately $1.32. It is not about your health it is all about the money.

It's all a Con if you ask me

Keep yourself informed. Yes smokers will probably die younger. But those healthy Nazi's will suck the Government dry before they go.  Health costs were approximately 100,000 more for a skinny non smoker vs a smoker.

A Dutch study published last year in the Public Library of Science Medicine journal said that health care costs for smokers were about $326,000 from age 20 on, compared to about $417,000 for thin and healthy people. Reason? Skinny people live longer.

"Willard Manning, a professor of health economics and policy at the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy Studies, was lead author on a paper published two decades ago in the Journal of the American Medical Association that found that, taking into account tobacco taxes in effect at the time, smokers were not a financial burden to society."  Just because they say it over and over does not make it true. Please people we have to fight back.

Lies and Damn Lies

In a story from BRIAN ROSS of ABC news "Where Has All the Tobacco Money Gone?" Ross exposes what States have or have not done with the huge windfalls they received from the Settlement With Big Tobacco. He found that it went into projects like Auto Speedways, Golf Course Sprinklers, tobacco warehouses, subsidies for cattle farmers, "Everything except getting our kids not to smoke," said Joseph California, who was secretary of HEW in the 1970's.

97 percent of the funds won by the states from the tobacco companies went for anything but anti-smoking campaigns. Ross reports that less than three percent of the $250 billion settlement between the tobacco companies and the fifty states has been used to fund anti-smoking campaigns.

When the tobacco industry settled out of court with the 50 states seven years ago this month, state officials said the money would be used to prevent kids from starting to smoke. Read the article
